An account that remembers every flight — hold-entry accuracy over time, which skill keeps getting busted, a suggested next lesson that actually targets it.
What's next
Coach today is the iPad app — real, working, and what you'd fly right now. Everything below is either actively being built on top of it, or an idea we're genuinely weighing. We're not going to blur that line to make the roadmap look more impressive.
An account that remembers every flight — hold-entry accuracy over time, which skill keeps getting busted, a suggested next lesson that actually targets it.
Tag a flight to a pilot's account after the session; they accept it, and it lands in both your logbook and theirs. No school sign-up required on either side.
The same objective grading, for a real airplane — GPS-tracked in the background while your EFB stays in front, working alongside PilotEdge or real-world ATC too.
Recorded your track somewhere else — say, exported from ForeFlight? Bring it in and get the same real grading against it, without having to fly with Coach open the whole time.
Share a flight plan and its script directly with another pilot, or contribute it to a community mission pack. Browse and filter what others have built instead of starting from a blank flight plan every time.
When the FAA has actually published a preferred route for your city pair, that's what a generated flight plan uses — not a guess at what sounds plausible. We're indexing the FAA's own preferred-routes data so a route reflects what ATC really tends to clear.
Every lesson today is hand-coded against real procedures at a specific airport — but that shouldn't mean waiting on us for an airport we haven't gotten to yet. The idea: ask for a scenario anywhere and get back a script grounded in real fixes and published procedures, reviewable before you ever fly it. Genuinely contingent on quality — if an AI-generated flight and its ATC script aren't coherent and well-grounded, we won't ship it just because it's on the roadmap.
A step further than direct sharing: an open, browsable library of community-uploaded flights, ranked by other pilots — surfacing the genuinely good ones instead of a flat list. Shape not fully decided; might end up being more of a filtered/categorized view over community uploads than a literal repo.
This roadmap comes from one pilot's own training itch. Tell us what yours is — what would make Coach a better training aid for the flying you're actually trying to get better at.
